Summaries or abstracts in languages other than English may be recorded in tag 529,
when annotations are required for bibliographic listings of selected UN
documents in languages other than English.
For example, annotations in French are recorded in tag 529 for selected
UN documents (other than UN resolutions and statements of the President
of the Security Council ) included in the French version of the Kosovo webpage of DHL's Documents Alert on UNBISnet.
The following subfields are used in tag 529:
$7 - a 3-letter code for the language of summary note;
$a - natural-language text of the summary;
$9 - product code for summary note.
The English version of the summary or abstract should be recorded in tag
520.
Summaries of UN resolutions and statements of the President of the
Security Council should be recorded in tag 995 (English).
