The consideration of the submission made by Trinidad and Tobago was included in the provisional agenda of the twenty-fifth session of the Commission to be held in New York in March-April 2010.
On 14 April 2023, Trinidad and Tobago submitted to the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf, in accordance with Article 76, paragraph 8, of the Convention, an amendment to its Submission on the limits of the continental shelf beyond 200 nautical miles from the baselines from which the breadth of the territorial sea is measured, which according to the coastal State supersedes in its entirety the original Submission.
