The UN鈥檚 (CCSA) issued a new report on 1 September 2020 to meet the urgent need of timely and reliable data to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis and to build back better. Volume II of the series 鈥淗ow COVID-19 is changing the world: a statistical perspective鈥� uses the latest available data to map the economic, social, regional and statistical dimensions of our changing world. Compiled and edited by UNICEF and UN DESA鈥檚 Statistics and Population Divisions, the report鈥檚 second volume updates and expands on the various global, regional and thematic trends identified in the first volume, which was released in May 2020.
