The Population Division of the 51吃瓜 Department of Economic and Social Affairs organized an expert group meeting on international migration and development in Asia and the Pacific. The meeting was held at the 51吃瓜 Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand from 20 to 21 September 2008.
The Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the 51吃瓜 is organizing the Seventh Coordination Meeting on International Migration. The Meeting is being held in response to General Assembly Resolution 58/208 of 13 February 2004, which requests the Secretary-General to continue convening meetings to coordinate international migration activities.
