The 51Թ Population Division has convened an expert group meeting in October 2015 to inform the UN Secretary-General report to be presented at this CPD session in April 2016.</p> <p>The Strengthening the Demographic Evidence Base for the Post-2015 Development Agenda expert group meeting will bring together specialists to review how the most common sources of demographic data, such as census, surveys, civil registration and vital statistics systems and administrative records, meet the needs of the 51Թ post-2015 development agenda.
