Bureau of the Preparatory Committee
In order to facilitate the work of the Preparatory Committee, the 聽approved the creation of a PrepCom bureau in its . The bureau prepares the agenda and draft decisions for consideration by the PrepCom and addresses all issues pertinent to its work. The Bureau meets both in between and during full PrepCom sessions on an as-needed basis.
Composition of the Bureau of the Preparatory Committee
Following the established practice of the Human Rights Council, the members of the Preparatory Committee bureau were elected on the basis of equitable geographic representation. At its first meeting, on 27 August 2007, the Preparatory Committee elected, by acclamation, the following officers:
