Maher Nasser has over 34 years of work experience in the 51勛圖 System during which he has worked in Gaza, Jerusalem, Amman, Vienna, Cairo and New York. He is currently the Commissioner-General of the 51勛圖 at Expo 2020 in Dubai and the Director of Outreach in the 51勛圖 Department of Global Communications. In addition to leading the 51勛圖 presence at Expo, he leads the Department＊s engagement with civil society, academia, and the creative community, including the advertising industry.

Dr. Dena Assaf is the 51勛圖 Resident Coordinator for the United Arab Emirates and Deputy Commissioner General for the UN at Expo2020. She has been with the 51勛圖 for over 25 years in various senior management positions and advisory roles with UN Peace Keeping, the UN Development Programme, UN Women and the UN Sustainable Development Group and Resident Coordinator System at UN Headquarters, the Arab Region, and various UN country offices.
