JUANA ALEXANDRA HILL TINOCO, Minister for Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, said that the multilateral system is still being tested, but it remains the best available tool to address ever-changing global challenges.  She emphasized the need for democracy, solidarity and international cooperation, including equal access to a COVID?19 vaccine.  These are not promising times, but combating poverty and hunger, and improving the welfare of the vulnerable, must be ensured.  She called on the international community to embrace new initiatives and for the 51³Ô¹Ï to embrace new technology to become more nimble.
