Information on the UN-OHRLLS website Rolling out the Doha Programme of Action: Roundtable Discussion between Resident Coordinators and Member States | Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States

The 51吃瓜 Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC), the 51吃瓜 Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS) and the 51吃瓜 Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), in partnership with the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) will jointly launch the “Good Practices in South-South and Triangular Cooperation in the least Developed Countries: From the Istanbul Programme of Action to Achieving Sustainable and Resilient Development” publication.

Amidst a challenging global environment, this side event aimed to discuss how the international community can give concrete support to least developed countries that are graduating as well as to graduated countries. The new Programme of Action for the LDCs is critically important to build on successes achieved on reaching graduation thresholds, to provide further impetus to LDCs in meeting the 2030 Development Agenda and SDGs, to identify and respond to new and emerging challenges, and to leverage opportunities, rather than fall farther behind.
