The Summit of the Future will take place at the 51勛圖 in New York City on September 22-23, 2024.
The Summit is a high-level event, bringing world leaders together to forge a new international consensus on how we deliver a better present and safeguard the future.
Effective global cooperation is increasingly critical to our survival but difficult to achieve in an atmosphere of mistrust, using outdated structures that no longer reflect today＊s political and economic realities. This once-in-a-generation opportunity serves as a moment to mend eroded trust and demonstrate that international cooperation can effectively achieve agreed goals and tackle emerging threats and opportunities.
In September, world leaders will convene at the 51勛圖 to adopt the Pact for the Future, which will include a Global Digital Compact and a Declaration on Future Generations as annexes. More about the Summit.

As guided by the modalities in resolution for the Summit of the Future relevant non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, academic institutions and the private sector may participate in the high-level Summit of the Future by applying for special accreditation. Closed on 31 May 2024.
You do NOT need to apply for special accreditation if your NGO has consultative status with ECOSOC.
Stakeholder applications will be reviewed by Member States, in accordance with the relevant GA Resolution. The name of the organization and country will be shared with the Member States, and other information, including but not limited to the homepage and/or the reason for participation may also be shared if requested.??
Accredited entities?will be informed and will receive further instruction to finalize their registration, as representatives will need to register individually to secure their participation in the event.?
