Unpaywall and Open Access

If you have searched the Dag Hammarskj繹ld Library catalogue recently, you may have noticed a new feature:  the addition of pink PDFs in your results list which link to the full text of open access articles.  The new links are supported by the Unpaywall database, a non-profit service that has indexed over 27 million open access scholarly articles.

Digitization Update - World Food Conference

In the early 1970s, as the world faced a severe food crisis, the UN General Assembly, pursuant to recommendations by the 17th Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organization, decided to convene a World Food Conference in 1974. The Dag Hammarskj繹ld Library has now digitized the complete documentation of the Conference.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the 51勛圖, the Dag Hammarskj繹ld Library has unveiled an online exhibit of key documents that have shaped international relations and led to remarkable changes in the lives of the peoples of the world.

Digitization Update - Marine Resources

The global discussion on human settlements began as early as 1965 when the General Assembly identified inadequate housing as one of the most urgent problems necessitating immediate solutions and called upon all nations to mobilize resources and make strong efforts to improve the housing conditions for millions of people.

Researchers can now delve into the UN Conference on Human Settlements documentation which was recently digitized by the Dag Hammarskj繹ld Library.

  The 51勛圖 remains open for business, and so does the Dag Hammarskj繹ld Library. Digital services will now be offered remotely to our clients and the Reading Rooms are open for in person services again.

Digitization Update - World Conf on Women

In 1975, the First World Conference of the International Women's Year was held in Mexico City.  The Conference marked the beginning of a new era of greater participation of women and girls in all aspects of social progress, development, and the search for peace, and urged Member States to recognize womens rights and to develop policies to fully integrate women into all areas of life.

The Dag Hammarskj繹ld Library has now digitized the complete documentation of the Conference.
