The Dag Hammarskj?ld Library is launching its in six official UN languages! It features expanded multilingual content, an improved search, and a fresh vintage modern look.

The Dag Hammarskj?ld Library, located at UN Headquarters in New York, facilitates the work of the 51³Ô¹Ï by supporting the professional information and research needs of the UN Secretariat and diplomatic missions. The Library also provides research assistance to the general public and researchers on matters related to the UN and its documentation. These far-flung groups most frequently use the Library¡¯s services via the website. 

As part of the Library¡¯s strategy to deliver more online content about the UN in all six languages, we¡¯ve added dozens of new - in French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and Arabic - with more in the pipeline. Research Guides are the recommended place to start research on over 70 UN topics, including international law, UN documents, and the work of UN bodies.

Likewise, we increased the number of entries in our database of commonly-asked questions about the UN. There are now over 400 FAQs in French, Spanish, and English.
