Ayush Garg is the Deputy Editor of IAAN Express, a national newspaper in India. With years of national and international journalistic experience, he has worked in Africa, China, Europe and South Asia, reporting on diplomatic, national security, social justice, education, humanitarian, defence and international armed conflict stories. He specializes in artificial intelligence, and has authored the book Nuclear Waters, which deals with militarization of AI in the Indo-Pacific.

He has extensively covered the UN System, from the Human Rights Council and the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva to UN Special Rapporteurs and several COPs as well as the G20. He has received recognition as a finalist for the prestigious 2023 International Youth Carnegie Peace Prize, awarded by the Peace Palace, The Hague for his initiative to educate Afghan girls.

As an award-winning journalist, public speaker and AI educator, Ayush mentors and trains students in the technology. He is an alumnus of the London School of Economics and Political Science.
