Catalina Gaete Salgado is a Chilean journalist and co-founder of?La P¨²blica, a non-profit organization and digital media outlet that promotes citizens¡¯ use of the Chilean Freedom of Information Act. Catalina holds a degree in journalism from the University of Amsterdam. She has worked as an investigative journalist for Chilean and Latin American organizations, and as an academic researcher for the Institute for Historical Justice and Reconciliation in The Hague. Catalina's reporting and interests focus on access to information and human rights.
