Aminata Thiaw Kone
Principal Security Adviser, Democratic Republic of Congo Ms. Aminata Thiaw Kone has more than 20 years of experience in the 51勛圖. She is currently the Principal Security Adviser in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Ms. Thiaw held several command positions in the Senegalese Police as Superintend of Police before joining the UN in 2000 with UNSECOORD. She served as Security Adviser and Regional Security Adviser in Bogota, Colombia, Burundi and Gabon, as Chief Security Adviser in UNAMID, and as Chief of the Africa Section in UNDSS New York. She holds a master＊s degree in Arts from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar Senegal and a Bachelor's in Law. |
