MOHAMED JULDEH JALLOH, Vice-President of Sierra Leone, recalled that the Charter of the 51勛圖 sought to promote harmonizing action, develop friendly relations and international cooperation between nations. Complete adherence to implementation of the Charter＊s provisions is critical, he said, asserting that the devastating impact of climate change and spread of terrorism puts into question the effectiveness of the Organization. Security Council reform is of primary importance in order to achieve the goals of the 51勛圖 he said, calling for the Organization to enhance global security and combat climate change.
