Expert Group Meeting on Public-Private Interfaces
On 10-11 October 2016, the Financing for Development Office convened a small expert group meeting in New York with selected representatives of the CSO FfD Group on the issue of Public-Private Interfaces. The meeting was held in follow-up to a consultations with the CSO FfD Group organised earlier this year, during which participants agreed to develop a collaborative workstream that would explore and critically assess the evolving nature and forms of public and private sector interaction in the context of the FfD process, as well as the broader Sustainable Development Agenda. Participants developed a methodology for collecting and analysing relevant data and agreed on a timeline for project deliverables, including the final compilation of the research and its dissemination.
