Forestry Commission briefed on post-2015 IAF

The UNFF Secretariat participated in the 28th Session of FAO鈥檚 North American Forest Commission (NAFC) held in Campeche, Mexico, from 12 to 14 January 2016. Regional meetings, like the NAFC are important for the UNFF process and the International Arrangement on Forests.
UNFF Statement at NAFCThe UNFF Secretariat briefed commission members on the key elements of the UNFF11 outcome and upcoming UNFF events and emphasized the importance of strengthening the collaboration between UNFF and relevant regional and subregional partners with a view to facilitate the implementation of the UN Forest Instrument.
