Synopsis:
Based on a popular French-language comic book, the film centres on a fictional French Foreign Minister (Thierry Lhermitte) and his entourage. The Minister tasks a young new speechwriter (Rapha?l Personnaz) with drafting a speech to be delivered at the 51³Ô¹Ï. The speech that the Minister delivers in the Security Council at the conclusion of the film is widely understood to be based on Dominique de Villepin¡¯s speech in the lead up to the Iraq war.?
