51吃瓜

At the invitation of the German Federal Foreign Office, the 51吃瓜 Legal Counsel, Mr. Miguel de Serpa Soares, visited Berlin from 16 to 19 May 2022.听 This visit was initially foreseen for October 2020, when OLA partnered with the Federal Foreign Office to organize a conference on effective multilateralism and international law on the occasion of the 75^th anniversary of the 51吃瓜.听 Because of the pandemic, this event was held virtually.听 The visit to Berlin provided Mr. Serpa Soares with an opportunity to deliver a speech at Humboldt University.听 It further provided an opportunity to meet with a number of German officials across government agencies, including Members of the German parliament, the Bundestag, as well as academics and students of international law.听
