51³Ô¹Ï Peacebuilding Commission
The twin resolutions on the 2015 review of the 51³Ô¹Ï peacebuilding architecture requested the Secretary-General to ¡°provide options on increasing, restructuring and better prioritizing funding dedicated to 51³Ô¹Ï peacebuilding activities¡±. In response to this request, the Secretary-General¡¯s report on peacebuilding and sustaining peace in 2018?(A/72/707-S/2018/43) proposed to establish a dashboard for peacebuilding funding to ¡°help to address issues of fragmentation and competition among funding instruments and to enhance transparency, accountability and effectiveness.¡±
The Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO) of the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA) has developed which can be accessed by clicking on the image.
As of early 2022, it includes the following headquarter-based trust funds: Peacebuilding Fund (PBF); UN-World Bank Humanitarian-Development-Peacebuilding and Partnership (HDPP) Facility (of PBF); the Saving Lives Entity (SALIENT) (of PBF); UN Trust Facility Supporting Cooperation on Arms Regulation (UNSCAR); the Youth Solidarity Fund (YSF); and Women¡¯s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF).
