At PBSO, we are increasing our engagement in strengthening the peace responsiveness of the private sector. We believe this is increasingly relevant and are committed to enabling a wide range of partnerships and exploring innovative funding modalities and co-financing vehicles. The Peacebuilding Fund is already actively engaged in identifying country-level projects to pilot innovative/blended financing approaches that can complement voluntary contributions from member states with additional resources from other entities such as local banks, IFIs, philanthropic foundations, and businesses.

On the policy side, we are also trying to mobilize support and advocate for a multi-stakeholder network to develop standards and norms to better identify and measure the private sector's contribution to peacebuilding – involving academia, member states, CSOs, and other peacebuilding community actors.
