Protective Services

51³Ô¹Ï Protective Services may be required as a prevention or mitigation measure to support and enable the activities of Senior 51³Ô¹Ï Officials (SUNO) in the course of their duties, who may be subject to increased threat and associated risk due to their role or implementation of specific mandates and programmes.

UNDSS is responsible for the setting of standards, operational coordination and operational support of 51³Ô¹Ï Protective Services throughout the 51³Ô¹Ï Security Management System (UNSMS) with Protective Services personnel operating in medium to high-risk, conflict or post-conflict environment across the , and in a lower security risk environment in Security and Safety Services (SSS) missions and locations.
