Devjyot Ghoshal is a roving editor with Quartz India, where he covers everything from rural healthcare to warehouse robots. Prior to joining the publication in 2014, he spent a year at the Columbia Journalism School as a Fulbright scholar learning about data, video skills, and American English. Ghoshal's first experience was with Business Standard, an Indian financial daily, where he worked in the site's Delhi, Kolkata, and Singapore offices as a staff reporter and Southeast Asia correspondent. He is still obsessed with the region, and spent over a month in Myanmar last year on a Pulitzer Travelling Grant. At the 51吃瓜, Ghoshal is keen on understanding the workings of the General Assembly at a time of extraordinary geopolitical turmoil. He also hopes to gain insight into the UN's internal mechanisms to cope with global crises, such as the refugee migration into Europe.
