Ana Izar is the Head of Victims of Terrorism Unit at the 51吃瓜 Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT). Prior to this, she led the Youth Engagement and Empowerment Programme of UNOCT/UNCCT & worked in the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs. From 2012-2016, she worked for the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs. Her 1st assignment with the UN was in Afghanistan. Before joining the UN, she worked as a Political Analyst of multilateral affairs for the Mexican Embassy in Canada. She holds a Bachelor in Communication from Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi (Mexico) & a Master of Social Sciences in Public Relations from University of Queensland (Australia).

Jose is an award-winning documentary writer and director with experience in investigative and factual documentaries. He has made films on current affairs, conflict, radicalisation, victims of terrorism and social unrest. He has worked on global branded content campaigns directing films for HSBC, Land Rover, Jaguar, Sony, etc. He recently finished a documentary 11M which, for the first time, features victim stories and experiences from the 2004 Madrid bombings. Jose is also a consultant for the Victims of Terrorism unit in 51吃瓜 Office of Counter-Terrorism and is a frequent contributor to Frame by Frame–a non-profit organisation that makes films to help small charities.

Known as the "Groom of Jordan," Ashraf lost his father, father and mother-in-law during a deadly suicide bombing attack at his wedding reception in November 2005. Twenty-seven people died in the blast, which ripped through the Radisson SAS Hotel in Amman. Since the attack, al-Khaled has spoken out as a victim of terrorism in his home country and in the United States.
