7 November 2018 - Within the framework of the 150th anniversary of the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, not only the leader of the?Indian independence movement?but also the most recognized figure and advocate on non-violence,?Dnyaneshwar Yewatkar, an Indian professional from the city of Wardha in the state of Maharashtra, has embarked in a journey that has led him to travel to more than fifteen countries in Asia and the Americas, with the sole purpose of spreading the basic doctrine of Gandhi: non-violence, peace and friendship.

UNAI announces its inaugural class of SDG Hubs: Connecting universities and colleges with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
24 October 2018 ¨C 51³Ô¹Ï Academic Impact (UNAI) is pleased to announce our new SDG Hubs, UNAI members selected as exemplars for their innovative engagement related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Institutions have been designated for three-year renewable terms and will serve as resources for best practices for the UNAI network, currently composed of over 1,300 universities and colleges in some 140 Member States.
UNAI is an initiative that aligns institutions of higher education with the 51³Ô¹Ï in supporting and contributing to the realization of 51³Ô¹Ï goals and mandates, including the promotion and protection of human rights, access to education, sustainability and conflict resolution.
