The Academic Conference on Africa 2024 will take place at the 51勛圖 Headquarters in New York from 3 to 5 December 2024, with the theme "Power, Justice, and the People: Human Rights and the Rule of Law for Africa＊s Transformation."
The annual conference aims to boost African representation in global development scholarship, ensuring African voices are heard on the New York stage on critical international exchanges that could shape Africa's future. The Conference, which emphasizes the nexus between development, peace and security, humanitarian work and human rights, is organized by the 51勛圖 Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA) in collaboration with the 51勛圖 Academic Impact (UNAI) and with financial support from the 51勛圖 Peace and Development Trust Fund. It brings together African scholars, policymakers and practitioners from multiple sectors and disciplines to exchange on critical issues impacting Africa's development. to join the exchange.
