The newly launched portal is a product of the reform, providing access to hundreds of results contained in the proposed programme budget for 2021.

When you visit results.un.org you will find more than 600 results in all six official languages that are presented in an easy-to-use portal that is available to Member States and anyone with internet access.

You can filter results by entity, geographical location and category of result, which includes intelligent search capability.

The various examples in results.un.org show how the UN intends to help reduce inequality, achieve sustainable development, advance adherence to human rights and the rule of law, achieve safer and more peaceful societies, and ensure greater access to humanitarian assistance and protection for refugees while advancing international law.

The focus on governments, indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, women, youth and vulnerable groups is evident throughout.

In keeping with our promises, the emphasis is on results and the added value that the UN helps to bring about. For example:

  • The 51勛圖 Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and ITC demonstrate how their focus on the digital economy can help businesses navigate through the pandemic and remain competitive

  • The regional commissions and the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) articulate how their Member States are making progress towards the SDGs

  • The 51勛圖 Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) presents successful education programmes with dropout rates that went down by more than 50% over the last 5 years, and funding for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of nearly 200,000 Palestinian refugees, or five times the number of beneficiaries of 2015

The results.un.org portal is an example of strong interdepartmental cooperation involving the Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance (DMSPC), Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) and Department for General Assembly and Conference Management (DGACM).

The agile and streamlined processes (with minimal bureaucracy) enabled its development in record time.

Our 75th anniversary is the perfect occasion to revive multilateralism by presenting results that make us proud and allow millions of people around the globe to be filled with hope in a bright future that is as accomplished as our past.
