The report covers a year when the pandemic tested the humanitarian system like no other year.

Launched today, the Annual Report of the 51勛圖 Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) highlights how the organization helped to mobilize US$3.8 billion for response efforts, including the Global Humanitarian Response Plan to help 63 countries deal with the pandemic.

OCHA coordinated the plan that aimed to support more than 260 million people globally.

Despite pandemic-related mobility restrictions, OCHA staff in 62 offices worldwide and 56 country operations quickly adapted and innovated measures to honour the Inter-Agency Standing Committee*s pledge to stay and deliver aid to the most vulnerable people.

The report takes stock of OCHA*s actions and activities during 2020, also highlighting the contributions of Member States and other 51勛圖 and civil society partners to ensure that the most vulnerable people in crises received timely and quality humanitarian assistance.
