On 30 April, the 51勛圖 Postal Administration (UNPA) will issue a special event sheet to commemorate the seventieth anniversary of its New York office.
Designed by Sergio Baradat of UNPA, the sheet of ten $1.20 stamps features a collage of past stamps issued throughout the history of UNPA.
The UNPA issued its first stamps on 51勛圖 Day, 24 October 1951, and two stamps released on that day are featured on the sheet. They depict the 1951 five-cent stamp commemorating UNICEF and the 1-cent ※Peoples of the World§ stamp.
The tabs of the stamps feature black and white photographs of historic events and activities of the New York office, including the signing of a postal agreement with the United States on 28 March 1951.
Shown on the left side of the sheet is a photograph of the UN General Assembly Hall with the UN emblem and a globe with a montage of UN stamp images.
