This session is part of the 'Bold Actions for Food as a Force for Good'泭event.泭The Finance Lever of the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit aims to turn finance from a constraint into an enabler of food systems transformation.泭The goals of this session are to explore innovative approaches as well as learning about best practices and initiatives that are already happening on the ground. The session offers strategic input as the finance lever is developed.

Bold Actions for Food as a Force for Good
To feed more than 10 billion people within our planetary boundaries by 2050, while ending hunger and tackling unhealthy diets, we will have to fundamentally change the food system, requiring co-ordinated and large-scale action by all stakeholders across multiple axes. This event is held in support of the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit, and is organised by a multi-stakeholder group of organisations that will seek to develop concrete, multi-stakeholder input into priorities, challenges, opportunities, and game-changing solutions.

Action Track 1 Public Forum
Action Track 1 (AT1) is concentrating on the goal of ensuring access to safe and nutritious food for all, and plans to look at this through three lenses hunger, healthy diets, and food safety. Over the past one-two months, we have begun to define the nature of the tasks that AT1 will take on and how it might go about doing that. To inform our next steps, we want to canvas ideas and create opportunities for you to participate, so we can listen to your ideas and input.
Food and Cultural Heritage: An EU Policy Perspective
Participants will be invited to explore the online exhibition featuring some of products.
A panel discussion (including the European Commission, the European Parliament, Europa Nostra and Slow Food) will then explore the connections between food, agricultural and cultural policies; along with a presentation on concrete recommendations on how to better integrate agricultural and cultural strategies.
Race to Zero: 10 Critical Transitions in Food and Land Use
Getting to net zero emissions requires a more sustainable food and land use system, and one that is fair and inclusive, but the question is how? This live event, in partnership with the Race to Zero Dialogues, will showcase how the 10 critical transitions laid out in the FOLU can be turned into more resilient food systems that can deliver the change needed to boost progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.

Race to Zero November Dialogues
The High-Level Champions for Global Climate Action are convening the Race to Zero Dialogues, in close collaboration with the Marrakech Partnership. The Race To Zero Dialogues will serve as critical input to the UNFCCC Climate Dialogues from 23 November 2 Decemeber, which are advancing work to governing the rules of the Paris Agreement. Together, both Dialogues will set the stage for the Anniversary of the Paris Agreement on 12 December as the world embarks on the Race to Zero towards COP26 in 2021.
