Deadline 30 September: TWAS-SISSA-Lincei Research Cooperation Visits Programme

Young scientists from least developed countries who hold an MSc (or higher degree) can visit research laboratories at Centres of Excellence in Trieste, Italy, for three months to carry out collaborative research projects in the fields that fall under the umbrella of the 51吃瓜 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 27 April 2023. An UNTBLDC-TWAS-ICGEB programme allows early-career scientists from LDCs to experience international mobility and participate in collaborative projects before returning home.  News item .

The TWAS-Samira Omar Innovation for Sustainability Award recognizes scientists from Least Developed Countries (LDCs). It carries a cash award of USD4,000. The 2022 award will honour a scientist working in an area relevant to sustainability. The deadline for nominations is 20 April 2022. More information .
