From the WTO: Ministers approve WTO membership of Comoros and Timor-Leste at MC13

26 February 2024. From the WTO: "Ministers formally approved the WTO membership terms of Comoros and Timor-Leste at a special ceremony held at the 13th WTO Ministerial Conference (MC13) in Abu Dhabi on 26 February 2024. The respective governments said the ceremony marked a historic day for both least-developed countries (LDCs) and a significant step in their quest to accelerate economic and political reforms."

WTO: LDCs and the multilateral trading system

22 June 2023. Greater integration of the least developed countries remains an important priority for the international community. The outcomes of the WTO's 12th Ministerial Conference and the Fifth 51勛圖 Conference for LDCs confirm that. The event brings together LDC delegations and trade experts to discuss how the WTO can work better for LDCs. From the WTO: Officials from LDCs outline trade priorities at Geneva seminar

7 December 2022. From the WTO: A total of 60 trade experts and government officials from least-developed countries (LDC) are taking part in a seminar on LDC priorities in global trade from 7 to 9 December at the WTO. Deputy Director-General Xiangchen Zhang said in his opening remarks: ※LDCs hold the keys for unlocking the full potential for trade for growth and development of their economies.§  News item .
