Digital Potential Beyond Boundaries
LLDC3 Connectivity Track
The LLDC3 conference has been postponed until further notice. Thank you!

Registration is open! Deadline for representatives of private sector and non-governmental organizations is 4 November 2024. To register, please view LLDC3 Registration Portal for details.

Unlocking meaningful internet connectivity in landlocked developing countries (LLDCs) is the key to breaking traditional barriers to global trade, boosting digital economies, and improving public services like education and health. By shifting commerce online and using advanced ICT tools in logistics and transportation, LLDCs can streamline operations, cut costs, and access new markets—all without the need for physical infrastructure. Yet, as of 2023, only 39% of people in LLDCs are online, with affordability and access disparities persisting, especially in African regions.

About the forum

The Connectivity Track at LLDC3 will tackle these challenges head-on, focusing on four core areas: Access, Adoption, Value Creation, and Acceleration. Aligned with the New Program of Action for LLDCs, we will explore the digital divide, AI, and emerging technologies, aiming to enhance digital literacy, infrastructure, and participation in the global digital economy. By fostering partnerships and investments, we can make meaningful, affordable connectivity a reality for all LLDCs.
